Admission to the degree programme requires possession of a five-year secondary school diploma or a foreign diploma recognised as suitable, or a four-year secondary school diploma and related supplementary year or, if this is no longer available, the assignment of additional learning requirements.
The places available on this restricted access degree programme are established with reference to the resources available.
The number of students eligible for enrolment and the related selection procedures will be published each year in the call for applications.
The knowledge and skills required for admission are confirmed by obtaining the minimum score, indicated in the call for applications, in the entrance exam set for this restricted access degree programme.
All students will be tested to verify the knowledge required for admission, at the same time as the above entrance exam.
The test of the knowledge required for admission to the degree programme is passed if the score of the student is equal to or greater than the minimum indicated in the call for applications.
Failure to pass the test of knowledge will result in the assignment of additional learning requirements, such as attending a remedial mathematics course or any other activities that may be arranged.
These additional learning requirements must be satisfied during the first year of the degree programme and, in all cases, by the deadlines established by the University.
Failure to satisfy the requirement by the end of the academic year of matriculation will result in repetition of the enrolment for that year.
Students who already have a degree or University diploma, and those who enrol for the restricted access degree programme following transfer from another University of Bologna degree programme or from another University, must nevertheless sit the entrance examin accordance with the rules indicated above.
